Ways to organize data:

Bar Graph
Horizontal or vertical bars in a graph that display data.

Circle or Pie Graph
A graph, in which a circle is used to represent a whole, is divided into parts that represent parts of the whole.

Pictograph
Shows pictures or icons to represent data and compare information. Pictographs include keys or definitions of the pictures or icons.

Tally Chart
This tally chart shows data by counting by groups of five. Each line, or tally represents 1. Once you reach a group of 5 you start another group.

1. Mr. Shell's grade three class did a survey about the children's favourite pizza toppings. There are 32 children in the class. Here is a bar graph showing their results.
